Support Worker

Kanda is seeking Support Workers to provide 1:1 in-home support. This role is ideal for someone who is calm, patient, and confident delivering personal care within a trauma-informed framework. In this role, you will:
  • Provide direct care and personal support
  • Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and light household duties
  • Administer or assist with medication as required
  • Support mobility and manual handling needs
  • Monitor and document client progress and care provided
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and other team members to ensure holistic care

Shifts available:
  • 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • 4:00pm - 11:00pm
  • 11:00pm - 7:00am (sleepover)
Days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Immediate start available following a paid buddy shift


Requirements:
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement
  • Valid unrestricted drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
  • Available to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings and sleepovers)
  • Experience with personal care & manual handling  
  • Comfortable providing calm and patient in-home support
