Kanda is seeking experienced Support Workers to provide meaningful support to people with disabilities across Melbourne’s Inner South region, including Burwood, Malvern, Mont Albert and South Melbourne. In this role, you will:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with varying disabilities in Supported Independent Living homes.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in attending medical appointments, accessing community resources, social inclusion, and wellbeing activities.
• Monitor and document client progress and care provided.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and other team members to ensure holistic care.

Requirements:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement
• Available to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings and sleepovers)
• Valid unrestricted drivers licence  
• Experience supporting people with disabilities in community or residential settings
• Background in related support fields such as mental health, aged care etc.
