Residential Care Worker

Enjoy flexible shifts to suit your lifestylemornings on Tuesday & Thursday (6am to 9.00am) and afternoons on Wednesday & Friday (2pm to 5:30pm).

As a valued member of our Kanda team, you will:
  • Provide hands-on care and guidance to young people in a safe and supportive home environment where young people can grow, learn and thrive.
  • Help create and follow individual care plans tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.
  • Support young people with daily living activities and support their understanding of self-care, education and recreational activities
  • Build trusting relationships by offering encouragement, stability, safety and emotional support
  • Keeping accurate and professional records and documentation.

To join our team, you’ll need:
  • A current driver’s licence (Minimum of a P2)
  • A Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or be eligible to obtain these).
  • Have completed, or are willing to enrol in, a Certificate IV, Diploma in a relevant Field
  • Experience with young people or in related areas (disability, mental health, aged care, childcare) is preferred, but not required we welcome applicants who are eager to learn and grow.
