Kanda is seeking dedicated team members to provide meaningful support to people with disabilities. In this role, you will:

• Assist with manual handling and mobility support, including the safe use of hoists and other equipment
• Provide personal care support including catheter care, stoma care, and wound care following individual care plans
• Support with medication administration and management
• Assist with epilepsy management, including seizure first aid and post-seizure support
• Promote independence and wellbeing through support with daily living, meal prep, and social activities
• Provide detailed shift notes and incident reports to maintain high standards of care and documentation
• Work collaboratively with other support staff, nurses, and allied health professionals

Requirements:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
• Available to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings, sleepovers)
• Valid unrestricted driver’s licence
• Experience supporting people with disabilities in community or residential settings
• Comfortable delivering clinical and personal care supports as required
• Background in related fields such as nursing, mental health, aged care, or disability support
