The Opportunity Are you an experienced administrator looking for a meaningful role in a values-driven organisation? We’re seeking a part-time Administration Officer to support our Allied Health Behaviour Support team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for new NDIS referrals and participant intakes, ensuring smooth and respectful communication. You’ll also support our team with essential administrative tasks and accurate data management.
This position is ideal for a return-to-work parent or a student in psychology, allied health, or community services. Hours are flexible (16–20 per week), with potential to grow into a full-time position.
Your Responsibilities: - Referral Management: Manage new NDIS referrals and intake processes with care and professionalism.
- First Point of Contact: Provide timely and respectful support to participants and their support networks. Address inquiries and provide clear information about our services and the process.
- Data & Record Management: Maintain up-to-date and compliant data in line with NDIA and organisational standards.
- Administrative Support: Coordinate appointment bookings, respond to phone/email queries, and support day-to-day operations.
- Reporting: Assist with data collation for monthly NDIS reporting and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Practice Development: Contribute to ongoing service improvements through participation in team reviews and planning.
Key Skills: - Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Previous experience in an admin or support role, ideally in the community or disability sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- High attention to detail with experience in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and make sound decisions independently.
- Current Blue Card and Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening Clearance).
Desirable’s: - Qualifications in Business Administration or Community Services related field is desirable.
- Knowledge of the NDIS and experience working within its frameworks.
- Familiarity with PRODA systems.
- Strong skills with Excel formulas and reporting.
