OPEN DAY - Residential Care & Youth Workers

Southern Cross Support Services (SCSS) have exciting casual and part time opportunities available as part of Children, Youth & Family Services (CYF). We are looking for multiple people to join our team:
  • Residential Care Workers
  • Residential Care Team Leaders
  • Youth Workers
RCW & YW roles start at $43.08 (casual) and can increase depending on qualifications and experience.
  
CYF are holding an open day near you – learn a day in the life of a Youth Worker, hear from our team directly, meet with our management team and interview for these roles.

Requirements prior to commencement:
  • Blue Card for Working with Children (currently hold or be eligible to apply for)
  • NDIS Worker Screening (currently hold or be eligible to apply for)
  • Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check (LCS2)
  • You must hold a current Provisional Green or higher Queensland Driver’s License
  • Smartphone with internet access
  • CPR Certificate (willing to obtain)
  • To be eligible to apply for this role, as a minimum you must be willing to enrol in, hold or be currently enrolled in and working towards a relevant Certificate IV qualification that meets the Minimum Qualification Standard for Residential Care Staff in Queensland.
