With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects and increasing demand for SAP BTP expertise, our client is seeking
five experienced SAP BTP Developers to join its growing team on a permanent basis.
These opportunities offer the chance to work across a diverse range of SAP BTP technologies, contribute to complex development and integration initiatives, and play an important role in the continued growth of the practice.
The Opportunity As an SAP BTP Developer, you will be involved in the design, development, integration and delivery of solutions across the SAP BTP ecosystem.
We are particularly interested in well-rounded developers with experience across multiple BTP services and capabilities. Candidates offering broad, end-to-end BTP development expertise will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop and implement scalable applications and extensions using SAP BTP.
- Build and maintain cloud-native applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), Node.js and/or Java.
- Develop modern user interfaces using SAPUI5, Fiori and SAP Fiori elements.
- Design and deliver integrations using SAP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration (CPI) and API Management.
- Develop side-by-side extensions and solutions integrating with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise applications.
- Work with SAP HANA Cloud, CDS views, OData services and REST APIs.
- Utilise SAP Business Application Studio and relevant development tools.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects and stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Contribute to technical design, development standards, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience We're seeking experienced SAP BTP Developers with strong hands-on development capabilities and exposure to several of the following:
- SAP BTP: Strong understanding of the platform, its services and application development capabilities.
- SAP CAP: Experience developing applications using CAP, Node.js and/or Java.
- SAP Fiori / SAPUI5: Front-end application development and extension experience.
- SAP Integration Suite: CPI, API Management and integration development.
- SAP Build: Exposure to SAP Build Apps, Build Process Automation and/or Build Work Zone.
- SAP HANA Cloud: Data modelling, CDS views and database development.
- SAP Extension Suite: Side-by-side extensibility and integration with SAP S/4HANA.
- SAP Cloud Foundry: Application deployment, configuration and lifecycle management.
- APIs & Connectivity: OData, REST APIs, destinations and connectivity services.
- Development Tools: SAP Business Application Studio, Git and CI/CD practices.
You don't need to have experience across every area listed above. We're looking for developers with strong expertise across multiple BTP technologies, although candidates with comprehensive experience across the broader platform will be particularly attractive.
