Title: Senior Quality Engineer
Location: Melbourne or Perth
Hybrid: 3 days in office/2 days WFH
Start date: ASAP
Contract: 6 months, strong likelihood of extension
Focus: API-first QE (.NET/xUnit), app automation

About the Role:

I'm looking for a Quality Engineer who is hands-on, automation-focused and has experience with manual and automation testing activities across web, app, and API layers.

What We're Looking For:

Strong experience testing .NET-based APIs, including writing tests in xUnit or an equivalent framework
Familiarity with microservice architectures and API gateways
Experience with Bruno, Postman, or a similar API testing/verification tool
Experience with Detox or similar app automation frameworks
Current, hands-on experience with either App or Web
TypeScript, Playwright and Cucumber (or similar web automation frameworks), exposure to React & React Native

What You'll Be Doing:

Contributing to test automation across app and/or web
Continuing to build out automation coverage as the program matures, alongside supporting manual testing where needed
Working autonomously across a broad and evolving scope, with no single expert covering every area
Partnering with engineers and stakeholders across different domains and business areas to support delivery of e-commerce and payment integration work
