Digital Business Analyst

We're partnering with a leading Australian organisation to find an experienced Digital Business Analyst to join a high-profile digital transformation initiative focused on modernising the customer payment experience.

Working within a cross-functional Agile squad, you'll play a key role in delivering a new Payment Orchestration capability that will enhance customer experience, improve scalability and support future growth across digital channels.

This is an excellent opportunity for a BA with strong digital delivery experience and a background in airline reservation systems, ticketing or travel technology environments.

What you'll be doing
  • Facilitate discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions
  • Define and document user stories, acceptance criteria and business requirements
  • Map current and future state customer journeys and business processes
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers and Testers
  • Analyse data and customer insights to drive product improvements
  • Support backlog refinement, sprint planning and Agile delivery activities
  • Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement
  • Assist with defect management, issue resolution and solution documentation
  • Engage stakeholders across business and technology teams
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within digital product or customer-facing environments
  • Strong Agile delivery experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams
  • Experience facilitating workshops, discovery activities and process mapping
  • Excellent user story writing and requirements documentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capability
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced delivery environment
Must have skill set
  • Amadeus Reservation and ticketing experience or other airline reservation systems.
