Product Manager – Fulfilment Transformation Sydney | Hybrid (Surry Hills / Norwest) | 12 month+ Contract

We’re partnering with one of Australia’s largest retail organisations to hire a Product Manager to lead the next phase of transformation across their eCommerce Fulfilment capability.

This is not a sit in the office and manage a backlog type Product role.
You’ll be in stores, working directly with frontline users, identifying workflow pain points, driving delivery momentum and helping shape the future of fulfilment operations at scale.

What you’ll be doing:

• Own and drive the Fulfilment product roadmap across in-store picking, packing and shipping workflows
• Work directly with store teams and operational stakeholders to understand pain points and identify opportunities for improvement
• Refine and prioritise a large existing backlog focused on operational efficiency, productivity and user experience
• Partner closely with Engineering, Delivery and Design to accelerate delivery and remove blockers quickly
• Drive execution across a newly formed squad environment with a strong focus on outcomes and pace
• Analyse operational and fulfilment data to identify workflow inefficiencies and prioritise improvements
• Launch new capabilities and ensure strong adoption across operational teams
• Contribute to future-state innovation across fulfilment technology, automation and AI-driven workflow optimisation

What we’re looking for:

• Strong Product Management experience within ecommerce, fulfilment, logistics, retail operations or workflow-heavy operational environments
• Experience working closely with frontline or operational users rather than purely digital/customer-facing products
• Strong execution capability - able to move quickly, prioritise effectively and drive delivery outcomes
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous and transformation-focused environments
• Ability to simplify complex operational problems into practical product solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across both technical and operational teams
• Experience with fulfilment concepts such as pick/pack workflows, inventory movement, shipping operations or operational tooling is highly desirable
• Comfortable being hands-on and embedded with end users in stores and operational environments

Nice to have

• Retail or ecommerce fulfilment experience
• Exposure to automation, workflow optimisation or AI-enabled operational tooling
• Experience scaling or stabilising product delivery environments
• Background working in high-volume operational businesses
