Looking for a hands-on Digital & Data Marketing Manager to own the performance marketing engine across Sydney Kings, Sydney Flames and Hoops Academy. 

This is a newly created role sitting within a small, agile marketing team. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will steward the digital platforms and connect activity through funnel to ticket sales, membership and revenue outcomes. You will be responsible for ensuring data capability and audience intelligence underpins everything done by the business. 

What you will be responsible for:
  • Managing and optimising campaign strategy across paid search and social
  • Owning CRM strategy as the business transitions to Hubspot
  • Overseeing SEO, website performance, digital reporting and attribution
  • Acting as a data and insights partner to the ticketing, membership and commercial teams
  • Managing a Digital Marketing Specialist in day-to-day execution
The basketball season runs from September to April and might include some evening and weekend work for games. 5 days in office in Olympic Park (moving to Auburn office in 2027) and extra hours are required during the season, with time in lieu and increased flexibility available throughout the off-season.

What you will bring:

  • 3 to 5 years hands-on experience across paid media, CRM and digital performance, either agency or in-house
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into clear channel recommendations
  • Experience in events, entertainment or services businesses where selling an experience matters
  • HubSpot experience preferred, along with familiarity with GCP or data warehouse environments
  • The personality to thrive in a small team and the grit to keep pace with the demands of a live sports environment
