Senior AI Engineer – Build Enterprise-Scale Agentic Systems

This business is building a full enterprise platform to power agentic automation across every function of the organisation. You’ll join a newly formed engineering unit tasked with building the foundations: enterprise agents, reasoning systems, knowledge graph integration, and the underlying cloud-native platform.

This is greenfield, high-impact engineering where your work becomes the backbone of large-scale automation across thousands of users.

What you’ll work on You’ll be building the core capabilities needed for an enterprise to operate AI-first:

• Ingesting large codebases and systems so agents can reason, plan, and take action
• Building scalable backend services and AI pipelines in Python, Java, and GCP
• Integrating with Vertex AI, orchestration tools, and knowledge graph services
• Shaping the architecture for a unified platform that future AI products will be built on
• Shipping production-quality engineering that supports mission-critical operations

What you bring We’re looking for engineers who can operate at a senior level across software, AI systems, and cloud fundamentals:

Core Engineering (Need to have)

• 5+ years software engineering (Python preferred; Java welcome)
• Strong SDLC experience, building and supporting production systems
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native design (GCP ideal)
• Experience with Google ADK, Neo4j, or other graph-based systems
• Ability to work across ingestion, orchestration, and platform components

AI & Agentic Systems

• Experience building or integrating LLM-powered systems
• Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, ADK, similar)
• Ability to design and implement RAG, vector search, and retrieval patterns
• Understanding of LLMOps, model deployment, monitoring, and experimentation
