Tech Delivery Manager

Technology Delivery Manager

What role will you play?
You’ll take ownership of delivery across the fulfilment technology domain, covering everything that happens after a customer places an order. Working closely with product, engineering, and architecture teams, you’ll ensure delivery outcomes are achieved efficiently and with technical integrity.

You’ll lead delivery across three engineering squads focused on sourcing and availability, picking and packing, and customer service platforms. This is a hands-on delivery leadership role – managing project planning, tracking progress, identifying risks, and supporting technical decision-making.

The ideal person is technically fluent, commercially aware, and able to operate across both strategy and detail. You’ll know how to balance Agile delivery with structured project planning, adapting your approach to the needs of each initiative.

• Oversee delivery across three cross-functional squads (around 15–20 engineers in total)
• Manage budgets, forecasts, risks, and resource planning
• Ensure governance and quality standards are followed, including solution design reviews and pre-go-live steps
• Use the right delivery methods for the work – Agile sprints or traditional project planning as required
• Build strong relationships with technical and commercial teams to ensure alignment and transparency
• Promote stability, scalability, and continuous improvement across delivery

About you
• Experience as a Technology Delivery Manager, Technical Project Manager or Delivery Lead
• Proven track record leading technology delivery in complex or scaled environments such as e-commerce, retail or digital transformation
• Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles and engineering practices
• Comfortable discussing technical design and trade-offs with engineers and architects
• Experience working with Azure, Kubernetes, .NET microservices (C#)
