HSE Advisor

If you’re an HSE Advisor who prefers real work over red tape, this one’s worth a look.

I’m Andrew Louden from Itch Recruitment, and I’m helping a WA-based solar infrastructure company find their next HSE weapon. Someone who gets that safety doesn’t start in a spreadsheet, it starts on the ground, in the field, with real people doing real work.

You’ll be supporting large-scale solar construction projects across regional WA (FIFO) and from their base in Osborne Park. This isn’t a role where you sit back and quote legislation. This is about building a culture, not just ticking boxes.

What you’ll actually be doing:
  • Overseeing site safety day-to-day, keeping crews safe and work on track
  • Supporting the project teams with WHS advice and hands-on guidance
  • Rolling out HSEMPs, SWMS and client-aligned safety plans
  • Running inductions, pre-starts, toolbox talks and on-site training
  • Investigating incidents and ensuring lessons lead to action
  • Completing site inspections, audits, reports and follow-up
  • Driving a safety-first culture without killing the vibe
  • Working closely with clients, subs and internal teams
  • Assisting with return-to-work plans and injury management
You’ll be part of a lean, high-functioning team where no one hides behind a job title. Everyone gets involved when it's go time.

What you’ll need:
  • Cert IV in WHS or a relevant degree
  • 3–5 years experience in construction, renewables preferred
  • A calm, confident, get-it-done kind of attitude
  • Experience working FIFO or in remote environments
  • Strong communicator who knows how to talk to people – not over them
  • A willingness to be on the ground, not just in the office
What’s in it for you?
  • $110k–$120k + super for Advisors
  • $150k–$165k + super for Senior Advisors
  • FIFO roster & Osborne Park office blend
  • Projects that actually make a difference
  • A crew that values initiative and people who speak up
  • No egos, no fluff, no middle management circus
If you want to help build something that matters, and keep the people building it safe,  this is your shot.
