I’m currently working with a Building Services consultancy in Melbourne looking to bring on a Senior or Associate Electrical Engineer to take the reins of their electrical discipline.

This is a hands-on opportunity. For the first 6 to 12 months you’ll be on the tools, delivering electrical design and leading projects, while helping to hire and build the team that will grow underneath you.
It suits someone ready to step up into a leadership role, or an experienced engineer confident taking ownership while the team takes shape.

The role will involve:

• Delivering and leading electrical building services design across commercial, residential, healthcare, education and mixed-use projects
• Having a say in who joins the team, including involvement in hiring electrical engineers
• Building, mentoring and developing the team as it grows
• Managing clients and project delivery
• Working closely with Mechanical, Hydraulic and Fire Protection teams

Looking for someone with:

• Australian Building Services consulting experience
• Strong technical electrical design background
• Registered (CPEng/RPEV) or working towards registration
• Leadership or mentoring experience, or a strong drive to move into leadership
• Good understanding of Australian Standards & the NCC
