Role Description
Sigma Aerospace Workforce is seeking General Aviation B1 and/or B2 LAMEs and AMEs for aircraft maintenance opportunities in Melbourne, VIC.

This role is suited to aircraft maintenance professionals who want to build capability in a supportive maintenance team, maintain work life balance through a Monday to Friday shift pattern, and continue developing their aviation maintenance career.

You will:
- Carry out aircraft maintenance tasks in line with approved maintenance data and procedures
- Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft
- Assist with inspection, rectification and defect troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and follow safety requirements
- Work safely within a regulated aircraft maintenance environment

Essential Requirements
Required Role Experience:
Aircraft maintenance experience in a general aviation, fixed wing, rotary wing, line maintenance, base maintenance or MRO environment.

Maintenance Qualification / Licence:
CASA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 Licence preferred. AMEs with relevant aircraft maintenance qualifications and experience may also be considered.

Work Rights:
Must have Australian work rights.

Location / Availability:
Must be based in Melbourne, VIC, or available to work from Melbourne on a Monday to Friday shift pattern.

Additional Requirements:
Valid ASIC or ability to obtain may be required depending on the work location. Current driver’s licence preferred.

Skills:
Strong aircraft maintenance knowledge, practical fault-finding ability, accurate documentation habits, and confidence working to approved maintenance procedures.
