Senior Software Engineer – Python / Node.jsThis is a rare opportunity to lead the engineering direction of a brand new global Greenfield platform within one of the world’s most recognised brands. The platform is being built from scratch to support hundreds of millions of users and redefine how people work, collaborate, and interact with digital ecosystems.
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and scaling cloud-native services from the ground up. Working closely with architects and product teams, you’ll influence critical decisions around architecture, reliability, and performance while delivering clean, high-quality code in a modern engineering environment.
This is an opportunity to work on a platform with massive scale from day one, with a team that values curiosity, autonomy, and technical excellence.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong backend engineering experience with Python or Node.js
- Proven track record in technical leadership, architecture, and mentoring
- Experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Deep understanding of microservices design and cloud-native patterns
- Familiarity with TDD, BDD, or DDD and CI/CD best practices
- Containerisation experience (Docker, Kubernetes) highly regarded
- Bonus points for experience delivering platforms at massive scale
