Tech Lead – Python / Node.jsThis is a rare opportunity to lead the engineering direction of a brand new global Greenfield platform within one of the world’s most recognised brands. The platform is being built from scratch to support hundreds of millions of users and redefine how people work, collaborate, and interact with digital ecosystems.
As a Tech Lead, you will be hands-on while driving technical vision, design decisions, and engineering best practices across a high-performing team. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to define architecture, mentor developers, and ensure quality and scalability are baked into everything you ship.
If you're excited by the challenge of building a global-scale platform from the ground up, and you’re passionate about leading modern backend teams—this role puts you at the heart of it.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong backend engineering experience with Python or Node.js
- Proven track record in technical leadership, architecture, and mentoring
- Experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Deep understanding of microservices design and cloud-native patterns
- Familiarity with TDD, BDD, or DDD and CI/CD best practices
- Containerisation experience (Docker, Kubernetes) highly regarded
- Bonus points for experience delivering platforms at massive scale
We don’t expect you to tick every single box — we’re looking for engineering leaders who bring strong fundamentals, an openness to learn, and the ability to lead by example.
If you're ready to shape something globally impactful while leading from the front, we’d love to support you in exploring this opportunity.
