Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Cost Analysis and Optimization:

• Analyze AWS usage and spending data to identify areas for cost optimization. 

• Develop and implement strategies for reducing cloud costs without compromising performance or functionality. 

• Monitor cloud spending patterns and identify trends to proactively address potential cost issues. 

• Automation and Tooling:

• Develop and implement automation tools and processes to optimize cloud spending and usage. 

• Utilize AWS cost management tools (e.g., Cost Explorer, Budgets, Cost and Usage Reports). 

• Explore and implement third-party FinOps tools to enhance cost visibility and control. 

• Collaboration and Communication:

• Work with engineering, finance, and other teams to foster a culture of cloud financial accountability. 

• Communicate cloud cost insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. 

• Collaborate on budget planning and forecasting to ensure alignment with business goals. 

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AWS services and technologies. 

• Experience with cloud cost analysis tools and techniques. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
