Senior Environment/Automation Engineer
Hybrid: Sydney CBD - 3 days per week
Contract: Initial 12 months with view to extend

We’re looking for a Senior Environment/Automation Engineer to help tackle one of the biggest pain points in our client’s tech platforms—misaligned environments. You’ll play a strategic role in automating environment alignment, data setup, and API regression testing as part of one of their core Platforms team as well as a wider strategic initiative.

What You’ll Do:

• Automate environment configuration and alignment across platforms to reduce inefficiencies.
• Develop automation for data setup, API testing, regression, and performance testing.
• Work with Java, Spring, Cassandra, and Graph to build best-in-class solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Automation, and DevOps team members to ensure smooth integration between platforms, optimising who connects to who and resolving environment misalignment.

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Automation experience – Java, API automation, regression, performance testing.
✅ Environment engineering & configuration – Hands-on experience in setting up, aligning, and automating test environments.
✅ Engineering skills: Java, Spring, Cassandra, Graph.
✅ Strategic mindset – Ability to work across teams and align automation efforts with long-term goals.
