The Role-What will you be doing? 

As an Investigations Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in identifying fraud, assessing liability, and managing financial risks. This role isn’t about following a script—it’s about thinking strategically and analytically to uncover patterns, assess risks, and protect the business and it's customers.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Investigating suspected fraud and high-risk invoices via phone-based inquiries (no diallers, no scripts—just smart conversations).
  • Rapidly responding to high-impact supplier events to gather insights and strengthen their legal position.
  • Identifying trends and insights to improve processes and manage financial risks.
  • Providing feedback on systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
This role could be for you if you'd like to:
  • Put on your investigative hat to follow up with clients' customers regarding potentially fraudulent activity.
  • Use your excellent phone-based communication skills to gather information and uncover the root cause of flagged activity.
  • Analyse situations to determine why the activity has been flagged as potentially harmful.
 And what experience do we think would work best? 
  • 2+ years’ experience in customer service, operational risk, or fraud investigations.
  • A natural problem-solver who thrives in complex risk environments.
  • Experienced in managing sensitive customer interactions where emotions and financial stakes are high.
  • Advanced investigation skills—you know how to ask the right questions and interpret responses effectively.
  • A strong decision-maker who can assess information from competing sources and act confidently.
