Exciting opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a well-known and loved Aussie brand starting on a 6 month rolling contract based in Melbourne!
 
You will be joining a well-established squad working alongside some of the best engineers Melbourne has to offer. You will play a key role in the Building, running and owning of the platform as well as building solid robust CICD pipelines with security front of mind.
 
Some of the Day to Day tasks of this role:

• Champion design and implementation of the Azure cloud platform using Kubernetes AKS and Terraform.
• Support the software development teams with deploying and managing their applications efficiently on the Azure platform.
• Assess code quality across the division, adherence to best security practices and functional changes.
• Daily stake holder management interactions including reporting and dashboarding to ensure transparency and visuals of delivery pipelines and deadlines etc.
• Support and maintain essential operational tooling to facilitate application and cloud performance management, log aggregation and analysis, incident response, data visualization, and cloud cost analytics on Azure.
• Upkeep best practice with CI/CD pipelines and cloud technologies across the broader landscape to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Skills needed for this role:

• Solid Software development experience / Background and experience with at least one programming language i.e. .net, C#, JavaScript etc
• Azure cloud experience
• CI/CD tooling such as Github Actions or similar
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Kubernetes experience – AKS
