Digital Business Analyst 

The squad is a cross-functional squad is and accountable for digital products supporting customers after making a booking on the organisations website. The successful candidate will have a customer-centric mentality and responsible for defining user stories to achieve product vision and strategy. This role will need to be able to interpret data and develop insights with the aim of developing, supporting and continuously improving digital products within a defined customer domain. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to introduce automation-for the Digital & Direct business team.

Must have
  • 5+ years’ experience as a business analyst
  • 1+ years’ experience in, and a passion for, agile ways of working 
  • Strong understanding and use of modern digital frameworks and their methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, lean, design thinking, human-centred design, multivariate testing, process mapping, flow charting, continuous improvement, test automation and others
  • Proven track record in communicating requirements both verbally and through user stories, with logical and clear acceptance criteria, that are easily understood by developers, testers and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to meet goals and deadlines with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work cross-functionally and align business unit processes to enterprise business processes
  • Able to understand legal, regulatory and corporate stipulations and evaluate risk and articulate using technical and business language
  • Able to investigate, track and resolve technical product and software issues including raising and management of defect and solution documentation
  • Amadeus Reservation and ticketing experience or other airline reservation systems
  Nice to have
  • Can solve, and lead the solving of, strategic problems of high complexity
  • Prior experience with, and strong comfort using, collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence to document and manage stories and other documentation
  • Knowledge and experience in domain-specific processes and can manage customer expectations
  • Robust stakeholder engagement and management skills (day-to-day interpersonal, structured workshops, etc.) 
  • Solid experience establishing and executing reports in a digital analytics or business intelligence (BI) tool, preferably Adobe Analytics and ability to compare data sets to deduce accurate insights 
  • Comfortable facilitating workshops, presenting at showcases, leading customer journey walkthroughs and quality reviews with stakeholders of varying seniority
