In this key role, you’ll oversee 6-8 scrum teams with approximately 60 engineers, working closely with the Director of Engineering to uplift technical capabilities and ensure operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams, ensuring best practices in application design, architecture, and technical delivery.
• Oversee technical operations, promoting team upskilling and maintaining a focus on excellence.
• Design and build scalable Java backend systems using Spring Boot, Hibernate, APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-performing solutions.
• Serve as the go-to technical mentor, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Need:

• Proven experience in a Principal or Staff Engineer role.
• Strong expertise in Java backend development, including Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• A passion for upskilling teams, ensuring technical and operational excellence.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
• A blend of technology and financial experience preferred.
