Senior Software Engineer - GolangThis is a unique opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer or Technical Lead to play a pivotal role in delivering a Greenfield Group Platform Project. This initiative is at the heart of transforming modern systems, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Golang, GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.
If you’re passionate about leading innovative projects, mentoring teams, and building scalable platforms, this is your chance to make a significant impact.
You’ll contribute to an ambitious cloud-first transformation initiative designed to empower a Digital Bank by achieving 100% adoption of GCP and AWS. The project focuses on building a future-proof, secure, and extensible architecture while leveraging advanced automation tools such as HashiCorp Vault, Kubernetes Operators, and ArgoCD to optimise workflows. It involves designing and deploying bespoke Go-based tools and operators for efficient resource management, all within a mission-critical platform capable of handling billions of queries daily, ensuring exceptional performance and availability for millions of users.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Knowledge of backed coding languages (Golang) or interest in learning Golang. Experience using Java or Python is Great!
- Experience or want to Use Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavioural Driven Development (BDD), and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Understanding of micro-services-oriented architecture and REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with public or private cloud offerings (e.g., AWS, GAE, Azure) Or interest in learning Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Good exposure to other languages is always a great plus for us!
