We are seeking an experienced PMO Lead to join this leading Sydney-based financial institution. This role is pivotal to the success of its high-profile, complex technology uplift project and will see you lead a large PMO team situated within the program to drive governance, reporting, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the PMO function, ensuring alignment with program goals and organisational objectives.
• Oversee governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks for a high-profile technology program.
• Ensure the RAID Log is maintained and up to date
• Provide strategic oversight and operational support to ensure the program’s successful delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistency in project delivery practices and standards.
• Mentor and guide a large PMO team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple projects to maintain program cohesion.
• Deliver accurate and timely program reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 7 years’ experience leading a PMO function, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Proven track record working on complex, high-profile technology programs.
• Strong familiarity with large PMO team structures and dynamics.
• Expertise in project and program governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are highly desirable.
• Worked across all delivery frameworks, Agile, Lean & waterfall
• Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence
• Experience using PPM tools such as ServiceNow desired
