Join a high performing team working on an exciting backend project in the e-commerce space. This is a 6 month contract role with a clear project scope and timelines, offering the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a cutting edge event-driven system.

What You’ll Be Working On:

• Backend QA: Ensuring the quality of a backend system that drives reusable, event-driven services for the application.
• Test Case Management: Creating and managing test cases to align with project requirements.
• Automation: Writing robust test automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright (preferred).
• Performance Testing: Collaborating with the Performance Testing team and integrating scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Database Testing: Performing SQL and MongoDB testing, ensuring accurate data handling and reporting.
• CI/CD and Deployment: Understanding deployment processes across different environments, using Azure.
• Reporting: Provide actionable test insights.

Tech stack you'll use:

• Automation: Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Collaboration: JIRA for ticket management and workflows, Slack, and Confluence for team collaboration.
• Version Control: GitHub and Bitbucket.
• Deployment: Azure environments.
• Database: SQL and MongoDB.

What you can bring:

• Solid relevant experience in backend test automation, database testing, and exposure to Performance Testing.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and environment management.
• Proven ability to work well in an agile, cross-functional teams, collaborating with developers, product managers, and BAs.
• Familiarity with the lifecycle of backend requests and event-driven architectures.
• The ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
