Currently looking for an Site Reliability Engineer to join a leading Australian payments company starting with a 6 month and can be based anywhere within Australia.

You will be joining a well establish team on a project addressing the code red challenge of bringing the businesses systems availability back to improved levels. My client has launched a comprehensive initiative to bolster their system resilience. You will be supporting the mission to raise the bar on Identity’s availability as high as possible. They’ve revised their roadmap to accelerate high priority areas such as reducing Identity’s dependency on other systems and databases and expand Identity’s services to leverage the multi-region footprint that will improve stability expectations.


Skills / Experience needed :

• General observability skills such as Prometheus / Grafana or similar
• New relic experience for monitoring and experience with creating dashboards
• Experience in complex distributed system and monitoring
• Demonstratable ability to quickly and accurately troubleshoot systems issues

  
Nice to have

• Previous C# / .NET experience
• AWS cloud experience
• CICD skills such as - TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, Ruby
• Open telemetry experience
• Experience unit testing / playwright testing
