Business Analyst - Mid

Opportunity for a mid level business analyst to join an Australian Financial Services company that is a pillar of the Australian economy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in building their career within the markets and trade industry and join a team of highly experienced Business Analysts. This organisation promote the organic growth of junior and mid level Business Analysts into senior and lead roles having an establish and robust BA framework and community of practice. 

The Role & Responsibilities 
  • Stakeholder Engagement to elicit business- system- and operational
  • Collaboration with project assigned SME's for definition of business processes requirements.
  • Elicitation, preparation and generation of business requirements in the form of epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Business impact analysis documentation and workshop facilitation with each impacted business unit.
  • Analysis of current state processes and mapping of future state processes and associated models
  • Contribution to testing artefacts and approach.
  • Work with vendors and development teams on project progress, problem resolution and solution design.
  • Consult with operational business units regarding deployment of system change, system functionality, system configuration and associated processes.
Your experience:
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Business Analyst 
  • Experience working working on small to medium projects across full SDLC.
  • Understanding of the business analysis fundamentals 
  • Effective communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Able to effectively engage with senior members across the business. 
  • Experience with business process modelling and system design languages such as BPMN and UML
  • Ideally have experience in markets / trade
