Senior Test Automation Engineer

The Position:

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the market leaders in the Australian Financial Services space as a Senior Test Automation Engineer.

This is a very exciting role in the business within one of their high performing cross-functional teams who are busy building and supporting next-gen digital assets for the organisation, as part of a multi-year transformation.

This role focuses on gathering testable requirements and implementation of test automation. You will work closely with the team, including business and technology stakeholders, to plan and automate the testing required for robust and low-risk delivery as part of the CI/CD process.

This role provides an opportunity to innovate and contribute to defining, re-defining and implementing mature test processes and test governance within the Digital domain, especially when it comes to performance testing and non functional testing.

What you can bring:

• Experience with different testing methodologies in a structured environment, including System Testing, System Integration Testing and End-to-end testing.
• In depth functional test automation experience at the API level, preferably with RestAssured; as well as at the UI level.
• Excellent programming skills and OOP Concepts in Java.
• Cucumber BDD experience.
• Performance testing experience.
• Hands on experience with CI/CD automation.
