Senior Delivery Lead

This role:
Working across projects and initiatives across their whole digital ancillary, you will also have touch points across business units with Senior Members of the organisation. The delivery Lead will serve, coach and challenge the squad in order to build a high-performance culture that delivers great outcomes and its customers. Responsible for leading and facilitating agile practices from discovery through to delivery whilst promoting a sustainable Agile culture. You will also play a pivotal role in managing projects, be the person who is on top of how they're running programs, ensuring they are on track and helping remove roadblocks.

What you will do:
  • Facilitate workshops (eg discovery) as well as team focused sessions (eg iteration planning, daily stand-ups, estimation sessions, showcases, retrospectives and backlogs)
  • Works with team, product owner and key stakeholders to develop feature delivery plan
  • Monitors the progress of the sprint and overall delivery performance of the team
  • Leverage agile life-cycle management tools such as JIRA to manage product backlogs and sprint
  • Manages dependencies and removed implements/blockers so the team can deliver effectively
  • Keepings things progressing through grooming sessions
You’ll have:
  • 5+ years’ experience in an agile environment and 3+ years as an Agile Delivery Lead / Scrum Master
  • Experience in guiding and coaching teams in the adoption of an agile mind-set and best practices while maintaining a strong delivery focus
  • Proficient in multiple agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, design thinking and HCD
  • Strong focus on continuous improvement within an agile delivery team
  • Experience in managing impediments mediation and upskilling team’s ability to solve issues on their own
  • Background in project management / portfolio management 
  • Superior stakeholder management
