Product Operations Analyst

Currently looking for a Product Operations Analyst to join one of the most sought after Tech organisations around the globe starting on a 6 month contract that will extend based anywhere within Australia.

This team is responsible for building products that the internal users rely on to make their lives easier. As the organisation continues to scale globally, there is a greater need for more collaboration and to streamline product development. Supporting many Project managers, 200 + products, and thousands of engineers that are supported daily. You can help with making our planning processes less manual and more repeatable.

Product operations is a role that brings people together with communication, collaboration, analysis, and the introduction of new practices, processes, and technologies to enable product engineering teams to innovate, deliver and grow. It’s a growing field in Australia and more and more product teams are recognizing the need for a product operations analyst to enhance their team.
Working with the Cloud Infrastructure product team, you will streamline our operations by prioritizing, and implementing improvements to how our team operates, communicates, and collaborates.

Think improving internal, customer and creator experiences related to product releases, improving product team efficiency and effectiveness, increasing product team and cross-functional stakeholder satisfaction and evaluating and introducing new tools and technologies.

Role Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify, define, recommend, prioritize and initiate continuous improvement of our operational processes (eg. Commit Tickets (Jira) and (GSheets) Confluence).
  • Communicate effectively across all parts of the business and to various levels of stakeholders.
  • Help the Project Managers maintain roadmap items.
  • Maintain regular communications with key stakeholders within the business
  • Ensure program managers and other functional partners are aligned on key objectives for our products/projects/programs.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience + in operations, finance, or a similar analytical role.
  • Analytical experience, with strong working comprehension of SQL and Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel modelling.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative user experience study, market research is desirable.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and facilitate teamwork.
  • Ability to inspire the PM team to take up new processes.
