My client a thriving, medium sized accountancy practice based in Malahide is currently seeking a
Tax Technician to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with
1 to 3 years' practice experience who enjoys working in tax and wants to develop their career within a supportive and professional practice environment.
Key Responsibilities - Preparation and filing of accurate and timely Income Tax Returns
- Preparation of Capital Gains Tax and Capital Acquisitions Tax returns
- Completion of Corporation Tax returns
- Assisting with VAT returns where required
- Researching technical tax queries for senior team members
- Supporting the wider accounts and audit team with tax related queries
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and providing a high level of service
Knowledge, Skills and Experience - 1 to 3 years' experience working in an accountancy practice
- Experience preparing tax returns
- Strong working knowledge of ROS and Tax Pro
- Knowledge of VAT legislation would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and technical standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The role is based in a
modern office in Malahide, Co. Dublin, offering a professional and welcoming working environment.
Working Hours - Standard hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm
- Flexible working arrangements available
- This role can be worked on a 4 day or 5 day week.
